Artist's Comments
The old Kebler Pass Wagon Trail doesn't take any traffic more demanding than bicycles and the occasional horse these days; it's a winding singletrack leading from Crested Butte halfway up the valley to the Lake Irwin campground. I stopped beside the trail once to paint the creek rattling its way down through the beaver meadow beside me. Yes, that's my bike lying in the flowers in the foreground.
